Steelers lead EIHL for all-time games played

Sheffield Steelers lead the Elite League's record books for the most games placed across all competitions as we head into the league's 21st season.

The Steelers are the reigning the league, cup and playoff champions heading into the new campaign. They'll start in the Champions Hockey League on Thursday before the EIHL begins on Saturday. Guildford Flames, the league's newest member, have played 405 games including getting to two cup finals and three appearances at playoff finals weekend.

Here's where the record books stand at all-time games for active teams:
