Giants hold league's best winning record

Heading into the 2024/25 season, it's Belfast Giants who hold the record for the best win percentage across the Elite League's history.
While Sheffield Steelers have played the most games across all EIHL competitions, the Giants have won 64.9% of their 1,277 games played over the past 20 seasons to top the standings for win percentage.
Defending grand slam champions, Sheffield Steelers, are a close second with a 63.% winning record, while Cardiff Devils round out the top three on 59.7%. Of note are Guildford Flames, who only joined the EIHL in 2017 and have played the fewest number of games yet sit fifth overall on 53.6% wins - a big impact on the league in a short space of time!
