Gameday 2 of the 2024/25 Elite Ice Hockey League regular season sees six teams continue in cup action.
Both Dundee Starts and Fife Flyers are back in home action but with the opposition reversed from their respective Saturday night fixtures. The Stars will be looking to bounce back after defeat against Belfast with the visit of Glasgow Clan, themselves defeated in Fife on Saturday – both head coaches were left wanting more from their top lines after the first game.
In Kirkcaldy, Fife Flyers host Belfast Giants as one team looks to make it a perfect opening weekend. Both were victorious on opening night, in different ways, with the early top spot in their Challenge Cup group on the line.
Much further south, Guildford Flames return to home ice after a 5-1 defeat to Manchester to face the Storm again. Tipped by many pre-season for a run in the top four, it was not the opening the Flames were expecting. The Storm, meanwhile, continued their good form from pre-season into an excellent win on home ice and could finish the weekend top of their Challenge Cup group.
