The first month of the season is already in the books, and it's time to choose our Warrior of September.

We've shortlisted five players for you to consider:

  • Jake Durflinger (Manchester Storm) - The League's leading point scorer, Durflinger has three goals and three assists in three games. He's also 2+2 in the Cup for a return of 10 points in 8 games.
  • Ryan Bednard (Nottingham Panthers) - new to the EIHL and the Panthers this season, Bednard has stopped just under 93% of shots in four starts so far, logging three wins and a shutout.
  • Zach O'Brien (Cardiff Devils) - the 32-year-old forward has three goals in just six starts so far this season, and has helped set up another seven for 10 points in six games in all competitions.
  • Jordan Kawaguchi (Belfast Giants) - The Giants forward has been on fire in the Challenge Cup, with five goals and three assists in only four games. In the League, he's added two more assists for 10 points in six games.
  • Ryan Tait (Guildford Flames) - 28-year-old Tait, in his third season in Guildford, has made a flying start to the new campaign. He has three goals and six assists in seven Cup games, and a goal in his team's only League fixture so far.
