Friday night action in Week 6 comes from the Vindico Arena as Cardiff Devils host Fife Flyers in Elite League action.

The league-leading Devils, who have four wins form five so far in that competition, face a Flyers side that have just two league points from five starts so far, and that were beaten 5-1 in Wales on 21 September. This weekend, the Devils will be three games in three nights visiting Nottingham on Saturday before returning home to face Dundee on Sunday.

Cardiff were beaten in regulation last weekend for the first time this season thanks to two late Giants goals in Belfast. That, and an overtime defeat to Manchester, are their only dropped points from their opening eight games.

Fife, meanwhile, have two fins from their last five games and were soundly beaten 7-0 on home ice by Belfast on Wednesday night. Post-game, coach Tom Coolen revealed a number of injuries that his side is carrying, and will doubtless be glad that his team will have a full week off before they play in Dundee next Friday.
