Honouring Adam Johnson

EIHL teams will honour Adam Johnson at upcoming home games

Last year, on Saturday 28 October 2023, Nottingham Panthers forward Adam Johnson tragically lost his life during an Elite League Challenge Cup game.

At upcoming home games, teams will pay tribute to Adam across the Elite Ice Hockey League. We invite fans across the league to join us in 47 seconds of applause prior to the start of games to celebrate Adam's life a year since his passing.

We would also like to actively encourage further fan-led tributes before, during or after games. Some fans may find the minute's applause difficult, and we ask that you continue to support each other as you did so wonderfully over the past year.
