Ansons officiating three games in EIHL in Week 10

DEL referee Andris Ansons will be working three games in the Elite Ice Hockey League in Week 10 as part of several of overseas officials who will be allocated to EIHL games over November.
The Latvian has worked in Germany's top flight since the 2022/23 season, having previously officiated in the KHL. From 2015-2022, Ansons officiated 227 KHL matches including seven in the playoffs.
Since joining the DEL, the 38-year-old has worked 137 games including 22 in the post-season. He is an IIHF A-licensed official who recently worked at the 2022 Winter Olympic Games in Beijing, 2024 World Championships in Czechia including a Semi-Final game, and 2023 Worlds in Riga/Tampere including a Quarter-Final and being standby for the Gold Medal Game. In total, he has officiated at three IIHF World Championships and three IIHF World U20 Championships.
Later in November, two Danish officials will work a weekend in the EIHL as part of an exchange programme with the Metal Ligaen, while a pair of EIHL officials will be in Denmark.
